By plane

The airport for the Lake Geneva Region is Geneva Cointrin.

Genève Aéroport conveniently has its own train station, is a destination for all the major international airlines and makes the Lake Geneva Region easy to reach from around the world (Genève Aéroport – Lausanne: 35 minutes by car or 43 minutes by train).

All major international airlines take off and land at Zurich Kloten International Airport, which is also served by an on-site station. This puts Zurich barely 2 hours 40 minutes away from Lausanne by train or 2 hours 15 minutes by car.

Basel and Bern also have their own international airports.
